This charming and intimate hotel is tucked away in a little pedestrian alley way, next to a house where Theo and Vincent Van Gogh spent some of their lives. It is a real oasis of tranquility, in the heart of Paris between the Opera andMontmartre, in a lively area full of restaurants and bars. The theme throughout the Villa Van Gogh Hotel Paris is the South of France and the hotel is full of lovely Provencal furniture. The reception is intimate and welcoming and apersonalised service is given to each guest. The bedrooms are compact (not unusual for Paris) but decorated with taste. They are being refurbished early 2005 and the air-conditioning is being installed throughout the hotel. A lovelylittle hotel for people who are looking for the "real" Parisian experience.
